Furnished in Winston/Royal Guard products, filter cartridges remove unwanted solids from a gas or liquid stream, and while coalescing cartridges will remove fine solids from either a gas or liquid stream as the case may be, their primary function is the removal of unwanted liquids.

Filter Cartridges WCL536 (0.3) with molded fiberglass tube and 0.3 micron rating has a flow path from outside to inside and furnished in the Type 150 Filter-Separator for removal of aerosol size and larger liquid and solid particles from natural gas. These filters are also furnished in the Type 65 Dry Gas Filter for removal of solid particles such as rust, scale, and dust.

Filter Cartridges WCL536 Series with molded fiberglass tube and a 0.5, 1, or 5 micron rating has a flow path from outside to inside and furnished in the Type 150 Filter-Separator for removal of aerosol size and larger liquid and solid particles from natural gas. These filters are also furnished in the Type 65 Dry Gas Filter for removal of solid particles such as rust, scale, and dust.

Filter Cartridges WMGL536 (0.3) microglass filtration and coalescing cartridges with a rating of 0.3 micron at 99.9% efficiency (beta 1000) have a flow path from outside to inside and furnished in the Type 150 Filter-Separator for removal of aerosol size and larger liquid and solid particles from natural gas.

Filter Cartridges WP-L436b Series with pleated polypropylene or polyester media with a flow path from outside to inside.  These are recommended in the Type 65 Dry Gas Filter for longer service life between cartridge change-outs resulting in lower maintenance cost and reduction in lost gas revenues.  Available is the WP-L436b1 beta 1000 filter cartridge (99.9% efficiency) or the WP-L436b5 beta 5000 filter cartridge (99.98% efficiency).  Both are for removal of 1 micron and larger solid particles such as rust, scale, and dust from dry gas.

Coalescing Cartridges WCL536R (0.3) with 0.3 micron rating has a flow path from inside to outside and furnished in the Winston/Royal Guard Type 140 Gas-Liquid Coalescer for removal of aerosol particles including lube oil from a natural gas stream. Extremely fine solids will also be captured.

Coalescing Cartridges WP-L536Rb Pleated Series gas-liquid coalescing cartridges offer excellent coalescing properties and longer service life between change-outs.  The WPML536Rb5 is beta 5000 (99.98% efficiency) with a microglass pleat for most applications.  the WPPL536Rb1 is beta 1000 (99.9% efficiency) with a polypropylene pleat for applications with trace amounts of amine in the gas stream.  With 0.3 micron rating these coalescing cartridges have a flow path from inside to outside and may be furnished in the Winston/Royal Guard Type 140 Gas-Liquid Coalescer for removal of aerosol particles from a natural gas stream. Extremely fine solids will also be captured.

Coalescing Cartridges W--L536Rb-ET Series with "ET" Top Cap, are gas-liquid coalescing cartridges designed for easy removal and replacement in the Type 140 Gas-Liquid Coalescer.  The dual purpose top cap is ideal for securing the cartridge in place and easy removal with the extractor tool.  The cartridges are provided in either a pleated or depth media and offer excellent coalescing properties with maximum removal of liquid and solid particles 0.3 micron and larger from gas or air.  Available in a microglass depth or pleated media, or a polypropylene pleated media.

Coalescing Cartridges WCT6--R Series has a flow path from inside to outside and furnished in the Type 62-CC-2S Liquid-Liquid Coalescer Separator to coalesce trace amounts of water into larger droplets in a liquid hydrocarbon stream. It is the first stage in conjunction with the second stage WCT6--P separator cartridge for the separation of two immiscible liquids.

Separator Cartridges WCT6--P Series has a flow path from outside to inside and furnished in the Type 62-CC-2S Liquid-Liquid Coalescer Separator for the separation of two immiscible liquids. The separator filter is hydrophobic allowing oil to pass through while repelling water. It is the second stage in conjunction with the first stage WCT6--R coalescing cartridge.

Filter Cartridges WCC Wound Series has a flow path from outside to inside and furnished in the Type 61V Vertical Liquid Filter for removal of solid contaminants from a liquid process stream. Filter applications vary widely and a range of filter cartridge materials and particle retention sizes are available.

Filter Cartridges WLP-L Pleated Series are designed to be provided in the Type 61V Vertical Liquid Filter for removal of unwanted solid contaminants in stringent industrial liquid process applications.  A large selection of materials, diameters, lengths, end caps/treatments, efficiency ratings, and particle size retentions are available.  The pleated design offers the maximum surface area for longer service life between cartridge change-outs.

Carbon Canisters WCFL-1122 Series with activated virgin carbon are furnished in the Type 61V-C Vertical Liquid Filter to remove dissolved hydrocarbons and other impurities from amine and glycol processes for the prevention of foaming and reduction of corrosion.
