Pleated Filter Cartridges
for Liquid Processes

For stringent industrial liquid process applications, the WLP-L pleated series filter cartridges are an excellent choice for removal of unwanted solid contaminants and can be provided in the Winston/Royal Guard Type 61V Vertical Liquid Filter.  To meet industry demands, a large selection of materials, diameters, lengths, end caps/treatments, efficiency ratings, and particle size retentions are available.  The pleated design offers the maximum surface area for longer service life between cartridge change-outs.

Shown here are two available bottom end treatments; an O-ring on the left and a flat gasket on the right.  Top end treatments are typically a spring assembly or a flat cap with flat gasket as shown above.

Efficiency Ratings:

• 99.5% removal of solid particles at the given micron size.
• 99.9% removal of solid particles at the given micron size.
• 99.98% removal of solid particles at the given micron size.

• Many diameters are available from 2-1/2” to 6” and in lengths of 10” to 40”.
• Recommended differential pressure for element change-out is 15 P.S.I.

WLPEL with polyester pleated media:

• Thermally bonded polyester end caps (eliminates adhesives).
• Particle retention (micron size): 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, or 70.
• Efficiency ratings:  99.5%, 99.9%, 99.98%.
• Maximum temperature: 240⁰ F.

WLPML with Microglass pleated media:

• Top cap options:    Thermally bonded polypropylene, Thermally bonded polyester, Plated steel or stainless steel (304 or 316) and with either epoxy or plastisol bond.
• Support materials: Polyester (standard), Polypropylene, Cellulose.
• Particle retention (micron size): 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, or 40.
• Efficiency ratings:  99.5%, 99.9%, 99.98%..
• Maximum temperature: 275⁰ F.
